Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Hello Ozona Families! Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We’re excited for all that this year will bring and look forward to strengthening our Osprey community by engaging parents, families, teachers, and staff. As a PTA, we also work to advocate for our students, ensuring their needs and voices are represented. The Ozona PTA is here as a resource to help you stay informed, get connected, and feel supported throughout the year.

Membership is only $10 and joining comes with no obligation to volunteer — your support alone makes a meaningful difference. Of course, if you ever want to help, we always welcome it!

Ozona Elementary School PTA Supporting our Ospreys

The Ozona Elementary School PTA is a partnership of parents, families, teachers, staff, and community members working together to support our students and strengthen the Ozona Elementary School community.

Our mission is to help create a positive, engaging, and supportive school experience for every Ozona Elementary School student. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, family involvement, and collaboration with our teachers and administration, the PTA provides programs, events, resources, and opportunities that enhance the educational experience for our Ospreys.

How PTA Supports Ozona Elementary School

Throughout the school year, the Ozona Elementary School PTA supports our students, teachers, staff, and families in a variety of ways, including:

  • Funding and supporting student programs, activities, and special events
  • Supporting PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) programs that recognize and reward positive student behavior
  • Providing teacher and staff appreciation activities and support
  • Organizing family and community events
  • Supporting classroom and school needs through fundraising and sponsorships
  • Coordinating volunteer opportunities for families and community members
  • Helping create opportunities that encourage family involvement and strengthen our Ozona Elementary School community

Our Goals for the 2026–2027 School Year

This year, the PTA is focused on continuing to build a strong connection between our school and families while providing meaningful support for our students and staff. Our goals include increasing family involvement, expanding opportunities for parents and caregivers to participate in school activities, supporting positive student behavior and achievement, providing memorable experiences for our students, and continuing to support the needs of Ozona Elementary School's teachers and
staff.

Most importantly, we want every Ozona Elementary School family to know that there is a place for them in PTA. Being involved can look different for every family. Whether you become a PTA member, volunteer at an event, support a fundraiser, attend a meeting, donate an item, or simply help spread the word about PTA programs, your participation makes a
difference.

Get Involved

We welcome parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, staff, and community members to become involved with the Ozona Elementary School PTA.

PTA membership does not require a specific volunteer commitment. Families can participate as much or as little as their schedules allow. There are opportunities throughout the year for both daytime and at-home involvement.

PTA Meetings are held throughout the school year on the second Monday of the month at 6:30.  Meeting dates can be found on the Ozona Elementary School PTA website.

We look forward to working together to make the 2026–2027 school year a wonderful year for all of our Ozona Elementary School Ospreys!
